The stand is simple, but efficient. Camera above, lights to the side.

I sat on the floor to work.

Each drawing is shot for 2 film frames. 2 frames = 1/12th of a second.

For shimmer, I colored photocopies.

Much is rotoscoped: partly traced from live-action.

I was interested in negative spaces.

This negative space was one of my favorites.
